Amanda Modesta Keyhani, MD, FACP, founded Shafa Medical Clinic in 1999 with a commitment to providing personalized, relationship-based medical care. Located in Midtown Phoenix, Dr. Modesta Keyhani is a board-certified Internal Medicine physician providing comprehensive primary and preventive care for adults.
Her clinical focus includes preventive care, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, weight management, heart health, anxiety and depression, as well as longevity medicine. She emphasizes prevention, early detection, and long-term management of health conditions while developing lasting relationships with her patients.
Dr. Modesta Keyhani is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine and a Fellow of the American College of Physicians (FACP). She earned her medical degree from the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, Ohio, and completed her Internal Medicine residency at St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Phoenix in 1998. Throughout her career, she has received professional recognition, including being featured by Phoenix Magazine among the area’s Top Doctors.
In addition to her clinical practice, Dr. Modesta Keyhani has served as adjunct faculty and a medical student preceptor for the University of Arizona College of Medicine – Phoenix and Midwestern University in Glendale, helping educate future physicians.
For more than 25 years, Dr. Modesta Keyhani has cared for patients in private practice with an emphasis on continuity of care. She believes that better healthcare begins with a strong doctor-patient relationship—one physician who knows you, understands your medical and family history, recognizes your individual health risks, and works with you over time to protect and improve your health.
